Introducing Ride Studio: replay your ride

Every ride tells a story, but a GPX file doesn’t. It’s just numbers. So I built Ride Studio to turn those numbers back into the ride.

Here’s what it does: you upload your GPX track — from your bike computer, your watch, wherever — and Ride Studio plays it back as an animated replay over the map. The camera follows your route, your performance data traces along with it, and your photos and videos appear pinned exactly where you took them. Your Sunday loop becomes something you can actually watch and share.

Why I built it

I love riding, and I love reliving a good ride almost as much. Existing tools got close, but I wanted something of my own — lightweight, focused, and built exactly the way a rider would want it. So I built it.

What it does today

Right now Ride Studio can take your track and give you the animated replay on a 3D map, on desktop and mobile, with your media dropped along the route — and export the whole thing to a video you can share anywhere.

It’s live at studio.cyclix.cc, it works, and while I’m testing the waters it’s free to use. I genuinely want to know how you’d use it and what’s missing.
